Fazana is placed opposit of the Brijuni Islands, near Pula. Fazana is a small fishing town which fascinates its visitors with its lovely atmosphere. People that live there are still doing the traditional activities, fisheries and agriculture, while in recent times, with these activities, and tourism increasingly gains in importance.
Little fishing academy "Sardine" represents Fazana as fishing town, and there you can learn about hunting sardines and other fishes with comlete fishing tool, preparing dishes of sardines on 100 different ways, ecology of the sea and many more. The unique exhibition of the Museum on the streets of Fazana and Valbandon presents local history, culture and tradition, free text, old stamps and other collected materials.
In Fazana there are many interesting events: Festival of fishermen, Fazana School of salting pilchard, Fazana in brodetto, gastronomic festival "Cup of the kitchen," Roman Valbandon, Competition in the preparation of food under a broiler, "Valbandon under broiler".
